Cruse Bereavement Support
Cruse Bereavement Care provides free bereavement support on a one-to-one basis for anyone (including children) for anyone bereaved, or affected by, suicide living in East and West Sussex, Brighton and Hove, you can contact our Bereaved by Suicide service by email [email protected] or by calling or sending a text to 07376 616628.
Each local branch offers a unique mix of support services:
Understanding your bereavement (group information sessions):
The Understanding Your Bereavement sessions provide an overview of the different ‘grief models’ and help you understand the reasons behind how you’re feeling.
One to One Support:
They offer one to one sessions with one of their trained bereavement supporters. These usually take place over the phone or via a video call. In these sessions volunteers will use counselling skills to help you understand how you’re feeling. Find out more
Groups:
Many branches offer peer to peer support groups. These include walking groups.
