Trauma Informed Practice – FREE TRAINING
The lifelong impacts of trauma and adverse childhood experiences are well documented and it is important that services working with those who have experienced such trauma are able to offer services in a way that:
- Recognises the impact of those experiences and how trauma may influence children and young people’s behaviours and relationships.
- Enables people to engage with the support available
- Avoids inadvertently causing further trauma.
FREE virtual webinars with the Oasis project
These webinars have been created in partnership with Make Good Trouble, aimed at professionals working with children/young people and families who wish to broaden their understanding of trauma and its impact on their clients and to develop their own trauma-informed practice.
The webinars will feature a range of engaging content from short presentations, Q&As, filmed conversations, case studies and real experiences/stories and will include the voices of young people with lived experience throughout. Trainers include Qualified Social Workers and Psychotherapists with extensive experience working with children and young people.
The sessions are flexible so delegates will be able to view the webinars in succession or separately at different times. Delegates will only receive their completion certificate having watched the full series of webinar videos.
You can sign up for the webinars on the Oasis project website.
